Full Moon

It's a Full Moon tonight and I can actually see it from my window as I write my very first blog entry.
When I was a child my Dad would howl at the moon from the dining room window.
My brother, sister and I thought it was hilarious! I don't think the neighbours felt the same way.
The moon has allot more meaning to me now, as a woman and as a mother of a growing daughter.
It is comforting to be able to use such a naturally beautiful occurrence as a calendar and a guide.
I hope to teach my daughter, Neve, the beauty of the moon and how it can affect her body and the world around her.
That it is a positive and wonderful thing with many benefits.
Happy Full Moon.
